Working for Recipro has a lot of perks but one of our favourite has to be the thanks we get from people who are working hard to make a difference in the world. We have the pleasure of working with a number of different community and charity projects who are aiming to improve other people’s health and well being and helping the greater community.
We recently received a lovely email from a community project that has used the Recipro service and we wanted to share that with all our other users.
Arts Hub 47 is a community cooperative for artists, designers and crafters. This is an open space for like minded people to come together and share skills. The hub has regular workshops, exhibitions and training sessions feature in their busy calendar of events.
The co-operative members sell a range of high quality art work, constructed textiles, photography, jewellery, ceramics and woodcrafts at affordable prices. The Hub is run on a not for profit basis, staffed by volunteers and sustained by the commission taken on sales and the small charge for room hire.
Jane Pearce – Secretary for Arts Hub 47:
“We have been set up on a very tight budget and discovered Re Paint and managed to paint our exhibition space twelve months ago and after several exhibitions the walls looked a little worse for wear and through some investigation discovered Community RePaint Wirral had been taken over by ReciproCity Wirral.
On my first visit to ReciproCity WIrral I was very impressed with all the building and plumbing materials that were available for community groups…we will be sure to visit again for any other materials needs.”
Jane was then offered a 10% discount for providing such a lovely testimonial to which she replied:
“We don’t need 10% off we think what you do is great and we have your leaflets in our shop.”
On behalf of all the Recipro team we would like to than Jane for her very kind words and hope that we can help them in any future projects they undertake.
